Sun Grove is the indie/alternative project of Los Angeles-based artist David Loving, originally from Philadelphia. A songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, he writes and records everything out of a home studio, blending soulful, gritty vocals with groove-driven indie rock. Guided by instinct and curiosity, his music leans into whatever feels honest and alive.

In college, I would routinely cut class to record in my dorm room, and even now it’s not uncommon for me to call out of work saying I have food poisoning when in reality I’m just close to finishing a new song. Despite any financial burden that may put on me, or other issues that come with neglecting aspects of my life, it doesn’t matter because I’m just chasing that high of creating something I think is f**king awesome.”
